Tuesday we met up with Chandra & Justin for their engagement portrait session. We took advantage of the beautiful weather and got some really fun shots.
We wish Justin the best of luck this season. He’s off to baseball spring training in a few days and wont be home until just before the wedding in November.

The Professional Photographers of Oregon held their annual convention this past weekend. We entered several prints and a wedding album for the competition. Our wedding album design won Best Wedding Album 2008, the Fuji Masterpiece Award AND the Kodak Photographic Excellence Award. The annual Awards Banquet was held Sunday evening where we were presented with our awards. Although our other prints did not win, they were all selected to hang in the print gallery that was on display to the public during the Convention.
On Sunday we shot some of the contestants for the upcoming Miss Portland and Miss Teen Portland pageants. The girls all looked fabulous and we used our new Hollywood setup to light them. We got some glamorous studio shots in an older dance studio in Portland.
We recently had an AWESOME photo session with Kari Virding, Miss Oregon 2007. Her Miss America send off party was at BMW Motorcycles in Tigard Oregon in January. The team at BMW were very generous and brought a bike down to use during part of Kari’s shoot. Kari was so much fun to work with and we wish her the very best of luck.
Kari’s platform is the amazing Make-A-Wish Foundation®. The Make-A-Wish Foundation® grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.
