Ben & Cassy’s Honeymoon Shoot in Playa del Carmen, Riviera Maya, Mexico

At the beginning of October we shot Ben and Cassy’s wedding in McMinnville, OR. The next weekend we headed to Playa del Carmen, Mexico to shoot Roxy & Dan’s wedding. It worked out perfectly as Ben & Cassy were honeymooning in Cancun, about 45 minutes north of Playa! We arranged to do a “honeymoon shoot” while we were there. Other than the fact that is was insanely hot and humid, we had a great time. There are so many cool walls and buildings to shoot against! We walked down Fifth Avenue then headed to the beach. Here are some of our favorites from the shoot…

Congratulations to Jenni & Darren on their upcoming wedding. We had a great time dodging rain drops downtown for their engagement session. Stephen’s Proposal to Pamela – Crown Point Park, Oregon

Today was an amazing experience for us. We were very honored to be asked to capture Stephen’s marriage proposal to Pamela. Stephen purchased a heart shaped ring box in 2002 while in St. Petersburg, with the intention of presenting a ring to his future wife. He didn’t know who she was at the time, but last year he met her at a party.

Stephen’s planning made the entire event go off without a hitch. He planned a wonderful evening for Pamela under the pretense of their “dating anniversary”. He made special arrangements to have The Vista House all to themselves, brought wine & cheese, had wine glasses made for the occasion and of course had us there to capture the moment. Pamela was caught completely by surprise and as you can see by the pictures, she said yes! Afterwards, they celebrated at Meriwethers, and we were there just to capture a few special moments.

Congratulations Pamela & Stephen, we are very happy for you and wish you the very best!

Chandra & Justin’s Engagement Images

Tuesday we met up with Chandra & Justin for their engagement portrait session. We took advantage of the beautiful weather and got some really fun shots.

We wish Justin the best of luck this season. He’s off to baseball spring training in a few days and wont be home until just before the wedding in November.
