Finally! We get to post our photos of the fashion shoot we did last week for Dosha, Aveda and Papier Couture. We shot the dresses at the new event space Venue Pearl on the third floor of the Aveda Institute building at 13th and Flanders. The Oregon Bride “Best of” party was held last night (more photos from the party later) and the paper dresses were the finale to the runway show. Eric Newland from Hybrid Moon Videography shot video for both the shoot and the event. Here are some of our favorite shots from the shoot and some “behind the scenes” shots too.
Rachel and Dan had a beautiful wedding day at Camas Meadows Golf Club in Washington. Garside Florist of Vancouver did their flowers and Rachel’s sister made the cake! We were allowed to go out on the course (which is pretty unusual at most golf clubs!) and took some great shots on the fairway, paths and bridges. As you can see, they had an amazing scene (and lighting!) for their ceremony.
So the average wedding can take as much as 250 hours to plan. A lot of people in todays hectic world just don’t have that kind of time to make the best choices and decisions when it comes to planning their perfect, dream wedding. Myriah & Jesse’s wedding was so much fun. The day was relaxed and everybody was having a great time. This wedding was yet another reminder of how lucky we are to be included in the happiest days of peoples lives and why we do what we do.
The beautiful flowers were done by Lillypilly Floral Artistry.
The reception was at Embassy Suites, Downtown Portland. Embassy Suites does an excellent job. They are very accommodating, the ballrooms are gorgeous and the food is always fantastic. They really went out of their way when we asked to be let in to the window display across the street (seen below).
